THE HEADS
Fluence, pulse, and rate. By head.
Printed with the platform. Not an American Spa Lasers study. The head you order sets the window and the range.
| Head | Pulse | Rate | Fluence |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 W · 12 × 12 mm | 3–156 ms | 1–10 Hz | 2–50 J/cm² |
| 1,000 W · 6 mm | 6–39 ms | 1–3 Hz | 3–30 J/cm² |
| 2,000 W · 12 × 12 mm | 4–72 ms | 1–10 Hz | 3–60 J/cm² |
| 2,000 W · 12 × 24 mm | 4–112 ms | 1–10 Hz | 2–55 J/cm² |
| 2,000 W · 6 mm | 5–30 ms | 1–3 Hz | 3–30 J/cm² |
Trio
1,000 W and 2,000 W heads on one chassis.
Pro
The 2,000 W set, including the 12 × 24 mm window.
Core
The 1,000 W set. 6 mm and 12 × 12 mm.
01
Three wavelengths
755, 808, and 1064 nm stay in the handles. 755 and 808 are specified for a wide range of phototypes, including dense hair on a first session. 1064 is specified for deeper reach at the bulge and the bulb. Settings still follow the instructions for use.
02
One handle, three windows
6 mm for the lip, ears, nostrils, and glabella. 12 × 12 mm for the forehead, upper lip, and cheeks. 12 × 24 mm for the legs, back, and other large areas. The windows switch on the handle.
03
Buy the headcount you need
Same chassis. Trio carries the 1,000 W and 2,000 W heads. Pro is the 2,000 W set, including the 12 × 24 mm window. Core is the 1,000 W set, 6 mm and 12 × 12 mm.
04
Built for one operator
Straight-through handle, used with one hand. A screen on the grip. A crane arm. Front plug-in docks. Two handles can run at the same time. Platform literature states about 60% less operator fatigue and about 30% less noise than a chilled cabinet. Those are printed figures, not an American Spa Lasers study.
05
Current generation versus earlier systems
Earlier diode platforms were often single-wavelength, with one small spot and a separate chiller. AlphaLux is a current triple-wave cart, up to 2,000 W, three spot geometries, and cooling in the handle. Shorter appointments. A wider client range. One frame.
The machine
CURRENT GENERATION
Earlier systems, and this one.
Technology in this category moves quickly. Earlier platforms were typically single-wavelength, lower-power, and limited in cooling and spot size. Sessions took longer, the suitable client range was narrower, and the console was worth little after a few years.
AlphaLux is supplied as a current-generation platform under the American Spa Lasers label. Where the modality calls for it: more than one wavelength or depth, cooling in the handpiece, and a design meant for a full day of appointments. FDA clearance and TGA inclusion where that platform requires them. Confirmed on the call, not assumed from a sheet.
Older or entry-level systems are not on this list. The practical difference for an owner is a shorter appointment, a broader menu, and a machine you can still trade.
40%
RESIDUAL VALUE
A machine should not become a net loss.
Like a premium vehicle, professional equipment should still be worth something when the next platform arrives. On AlphaLux, in good condition, purchased from American Spa Lasers, we guarantee a minimum of 40% of the original price for up to five years.
Trade in. Confirm condition on a call. You stay in front of the category instead of carrying a console the room has outgrown.
Questions owners ask
Who is AlphaLux for?
Trained clinicians and med spas. It is not a home device and not a treatment sold to the public from this page. A state laser licence applies where the practice is.
What does a technology discussion cover?
Wavelengths, spot sizes, which build fits the room, and how the handles are used. It is a call. It is not a clinic demo.
Can one platform cover face and body?
Yes. The 6 mm window is for small zones. The 12 × 12 mm window is for the face. The 12 × 24 mm window is for larger areas, on the 2,000 W heads. Settings still follow the instructions for use.
Are the photographs clinical results?
No. They show the machine. They are not a before-and-after, not a study, and not a guarantee.
