01

One handle, four windows

The brochure assigns the small round window to the lip and nose, the 12.5 mm windows to the face, underarm, and bikini line, and the longer windows to the arm, chest, back, and leg. Settings still follow the instructions for use.

02

Energy on the handle

The handle has its own screen, so energy is changed without walking back to the cart.

03

Literature, not a study

The sheet prints a 40% faster line for the 5.2 cm² window, and it cites FDA and medical CE marks. Those are platform literature figures, not an American Spa Lasers study. Confirm the registration that applies in Australia or the United States on the call.

04

Current generation versus earlier systems

Previous generation diodes used fixed smaller spots and lower power. HIDL 1800 is a current 1,800 W triple-wave platform with four changeable spots on one handle and advanced contact cooling. Throughput and client range improve relative to earlier fixed-spot systems.

CURRENT GENERATION

Earlier systems, and this one.

Technology in this category moves quickly. Earlier platforms were typically single-wavelength, lower-power, and limited in cooling and spot size. Sessions took longer, the suitable client range was narrower, and the console was worth little after a few years.

HIDL 1800 is supplied as a current-generation platform under the American Spa Lasers label. Where the modality calls for it: more than one wavelength or depth, cooling in the handpiece, and a design meant for a full day of appointments. FDA clearance and TGA inclusion where that platform requires them. Confirmed on the call, not assumed from a sheet.

Older or entry-level systems are not on this list. The practical difference for an owner is a shorter appointment, a broader menu, and a machine you can still trade.

40%

RESIDUAL VALUE

A machine should not become a net loss.

Like a premium vehicle, professional equipment should still be worth something when the next platform arrives. On HIDL 1800, in good condition, purchased from American Spa Lasers, we guarantee a minimum of 40% of the original price for up to five years.

Trade in. Confirm condition on a call. You stay in front of the category instead of carrying a console the room has outgrown.

Questions owners ask

Is this Quadlaze Max?

No. Quadlaze Max is the 1,200 W and 2,000 W pair on the main line. HIDL 1800 is this 1,800 W cart with four changeable spots.

How is it different from AlphaLux?

AlphaLux is the tall cart with 6 mm, 12 × 12 mm, and 12 × 24 mm windows, in 1,000 W and 2,000 W heads. HIDL 1800 is one 1,800 W handle with four different spots, including 13.5 × 38.5 mm.

Who can operate it?

Trained clinicians only. Class 4 laser. Wavelength-rated eyewear and the instructions for use are required. A state laser licence applies where the practice is.

Are the photographs results?

No. They show the machine. They are not a before-and-after and not a clinical study.
