01
Two wavelengths, then options
1,064 nm and 532 nm are the working pair. 585 nm and 650 nm are optional heads for colours the main pair is not aimed at. The cellular handle is the rejuvenation option on the same console.
02
What an owner can offer
A pigment and tattoo-ink appointment, separate from the 21-day skin course. Talk about appearance. Do not promise clearance, and do not call it a cure.
03
Faster than a nanosecond sheet
The brochure says the pulse is about ten times shorter than a nanosecond Q-switched laser. That is the printed comparison, not an American Spa Lasers study.
04
Current generation versus earlier systems
Earlier Q-switched nanosecond lasers required more sessions and carried higher risk of thermal damage on pigment work. Pico Nd:YAG delivers 750 ps pulses at 1,064 nm and 532 nm (with optional wavelengths). Owners offer pigment and tattoo-ink appearance treatments with literature-stated shorter pulse duration and broader colour coverage. Confirm FDA clearance and TGA inclusion for the destination market on the call.
The machine
CURRENT GENERATION
Earlier systems, and this one.
Technology in this category moves quickly. Earlier platforms were typically single-wavelength, lower-power, and limited in cooling and spot size. Sessions took longer, the suitable client range was narrower, and the console was worth little after a few years.
Pico Nd:YAG is supplied as a current-generation platform under the American Spa Lasers label. Where the modality calls for it: more than one wavelength or depth, cooling in the handpiece, and a design meant for a full day of appointments. FDA clearance and TGA inclusion where that platform requires them. Confirmed on the call, not assumed from a sheet.
Older or entry-level systems are not on this list. The practical difference for an owner is a shorter appointment, a broader menu, and a machine you can still trade.
40%
RESIDUAL VALUE
A machine should not become a net loss.
Like a premium vehicle, professional equipment should still be worth something when the next platform arrives. On Pico Nd:YAG, in good condition, purchased from American Spa Lasers, we guarantee a minimum of 40% of the original price for up to five years.
Trade in. Confirm condition on a call. You stay in front of the category instead of carrying a console the room has outgrown.
Questions owners ask
Is this RenuVa?
No. RenuVa is the non-ablative fractional erbium. Pico Nd:YAG is a picosecond platform for pigment and tattoo-ink appearance.
Can every colour be treated?
The sheet assigns 532 nm to red, brown, and orange ink, 1,064 nm to black and blue, 585 nm to red and purple, and 650 nm to green. Those are the printed aims. They are not a guarantee.
Who may buy it?
Practices in Australia and the United States that hold the laser authority the state requires. Trained operators. Wavelength-rated eyewear.
Are there before-and-after photos?
No. This page shows the machine only.
